• Doug Akagi


    Doug began his career in Tokyo, Japan working for the prestigious Nippon Design Center. His work has received much recognition both here and abroad with awards of distinction and inclusion in numerous design publications. He is a professor emeritus at the California College of the Arts where he has taught design since 1984. He was a founding officer and board member of the San Francisco Chapter of the AIGA. Doug received the 2009 AIGA Fellow Award along with friends Leslie Becker and Michael Cronan.

    In his spare time Doug has completed over 20 marathons and 150 triathlons, including four Ironman events.

  • Dorothy Remington


    With an understanding of the power of design, Dorothy has spent more than 20 years creating award-winning projects for many of the country's leading non-profit organizations and learning institutions. She has taught computer illustration and design at the California College of the Arts as an adjunct professor for 10 years. And not too long ago, Dorothy was a nationally ranked masters swimmer. Her specialty, the 200-meter butterfly!
